CAFTA was established in 1987 and has provided training locally and nationally for most of this time. In March 2015 there was some major changes regarding funding that had led to CAFTA  down sizing. CAFTA  were in an unique position that enabled them to distribute most of their Staff throughout the community to continue the great work that they did.CAFTA board  have continued with their CE scheme of 21 participants that support other agencies within the community.
